Monuments

I have this strange obsession with these metal structures. Monuments that honor the mankind intelligence and its thirst for progress. So impressive, cold, lifeless. They seem so surrealistic in the horizon. I see them and I imagine a dadaist statue. A steel giant, standing in the middle of natural beauty and yet they don't seem to be invading it, but by the contrary, they make the landscape a whole, as a unity.

I can see a distant future, a time when our planet is devoid of human race and all that its left are our decayed cities and these structures and I cant imagine a better tombstone for us.
